The Barrel is the most generous of the barrel saunas, made for evenings that turn into gatherings. A side door opens into a sitting room with a table and storage benches, lit by a double opening window. Through a tinted glass door, the sauna room waits with deciduous wood benches and a round window onto the garden. A 9kW Harvia Cilindro heater brings the warmth with a touch of its Xenio control, while soft LED lighting traces the roofline after dark. It arrives fully assembled, with room for eight to ten.

Nothing is final. James confirms the product, access, base and specification before any money changes hands.

James's take

This is the sauna for people who entertain. The sitting room with its table changes how it gets used: people stay, talk and go back in. It arrives fully built, so the real question is access, and that’s exactly what I’ll check with you first.

Good to know

Questions people ask

The things worth knowing before you decide. Anything else, James is happy to talk through.

Does it need electricity?

Yes. The 9kW Harvia heater and the LED lighting are hard-wired to a dedicated circuit by a qualified electrician. It does not plug into a household socket. James checks your supply at the site review and confirms exactly what is needed, so there are no surprises later.

How long does it take to heat up?

Heat-up time depends on the heater, the outside temperature and how warm you like it; most people enjoy a sauna at around 80–90°C. We will give you a realistic figure for your setup rather than a best-case one.

What base does it need?

It needs a level, waterproofed concrete base built to the manufacturer's drawings. This matters: the base keeps the doors and windows true, and it is a condition of the warranty. James confirms the exact requirement at the free site review, before any quote.

Will it fit through to my garden?

It arrives fully assembled: 5.9 metres long, 2.24 metres wide, 2.4 metres high and around 2,200kg. The delivery route and how it is lifted into place both need planning, so James checks access carefully at the site review before anything is ordered.

What warranty does it come with?

Warranty terms are confirmed in writing alongside the exact specification you choose, so you know what is covered before you commit to anything.
