The Brook
An oval spruce cold tub for one or two, with sand filtration, delivered fully assembled.
Final package pricing to confirm
The Brook is an oval cold tub in solid spruce, made for the moment after the heat. Its 38mm walls are held by stainless steel bands, with benches fixed inside, so you can sit and let the cold water rise to your shoulders. A sand filter keeps the water clear between changes, and a simple outlet valve drains it when the time comes. It arrives fully assembled, ready to fill, with room for one or two. A quiet, bracing close to the evening.
Nothing is final. James confirms the product, access, base and specification before any money changes hands.
Made for real life
Why the Brook?
The other half of the ritual
Made to be used after a sauna or hot tub. Heat, then cold: a bracing contrast that many find leaves them clear-headed and properly reset.
Room for one, or two
Sit on the bench and the water comes up to your shoulders. Space enough for a quiet moment alone, or to share with one other.
Clearer for longer
The sand filter keeps the water clean between changes, and the outlet valve takes a hose when it is time to drain.
Arrives ready
Delivered fully assembled, with nothing to build. Fill it, let the timber settle, and it is yours.

James's take
If you already have a sauna or a hot tub, this is the piece that completes the ritual. Heat, then cold, then that clear, settled feeling afterwards. It's compact, arrives ready, and the filter means you're not changing the water every few days.

Good to know
Questions people ask
The things worth knowing before you decide. Anything else, James is happy to talk through.
Does it need electricity?
Only for the sand filter. The tub itself needs no power, but the filter pump needs an outdoor supply near the tub, fitted by a qualified electrician. James confirms exactly what your supply needs to be at the site review, so there are no surprises later.
How long does it take to heat up?
As cold as the water you fill it with, and the season around it. There is no chiller, so the temperature follows your water supply and the weather: crisp in winter, milder at the height of summer. If you would like a set temperature all year round, James can talk you through the alternatives.
What base does it need?
A firm, level base. Gravel, loose chippings or flagstones are ideal; soil and lawn are not, and drainage can help depending on your garden. There's no need for concrete, but air should be able to move beneath the tub so it stays dry.
Will it fit through to my garden?
It arrives fully assembled, so there's nothing to build. The delivery route needs to take a load about 1.6 metres long, 1 metre wide and just under 1 metre high, and James will check it with you before anything is ordered.
What warranty does it come with?
Warranty terms are confirmed in writing alongside the exact specification you choose, so you know what is covered before you commit to anything.
